Kerala's finance minister said- "It is commendable to have everyone come together for the help of Kerala, there is still much to do."
After the devastation due to the flood in Kerala, the
work of rehabilitation and relief work is being done in full swing. Kerala
Finance Minister Thomas Isaac said in a program organized on special campaign
for NDTV and Tata Sky, that it is commendable for all to come together for the
help of Kerala. He said that there is still much to do for Kerala now. It is
worth mentioning that in this program held on NDTV, celebrities from different
fields are participating. Film actress Raveena Tandon said about the flood in
Kerala during the event organized on NDTV, that now Kerala needs our most. We
should help as much as possible without any thought.
In
Kerala, the biggest tragedy of the century, i.e flood, not only brought many
lives to the Kaal's cheeks, but pushed the people of that region many years
back in terms of development. In Kerala, the work is being done for the
rehabilitation of the flood victims. Relief work has been intensified to bring
the lives of flood victims back on track. As far as donations or help from
across the country, Rs 1027 crore has been deposited in Kerala Chief Minister's
relief fund, which is much more than the amount given by the Modi government.
However, the amount of money received in the Chief Minister's Relief Fund
includes the amount of assistance given by the state governments, public,
corporates and the organization. Explain that the Modi Government has given
advance financial help of 600 crore rupees to the devastated floods.
Google will contribute $ 1 million (about seven crore rupees) for relief work in Kerala
. Kerala is badly affected by the terrible flood. A top Google official gave this information on Tuesday. In the Google for India program, Southeast Asia and India's Vice President Rajan Anandan said, "Google Dot ORG and Google employees will contribute $ 1 million for relief work in Kerala."The Google Crisis Response Team has initiated several measures to help flood victims in Kerala. Anandan said that in other measures this has enabled the Person Finder Tool, which has recorded 22,000 records.Since the monsoon rain started in May 29 in Kerala, 417 people have lost their lives, while 8.69 lakh displaced people have taken shelter in 2,787 relief camps. In Kerala, one of the biggest floods of the century, people are trying to recover. On Tuesday, Rahul Gandhi also reached Kerala and visited flood affected areas to know about the recent move of floods devastated by Kerala and its people. On Wednesday, in a press conference in Kochi, Rahul Gandhi said that he has come to support people in Kerala and not politics on the situation. He said that I have come here to support and I have not come to politics. I will not say anything on this crisis.
Talking to journalists in Kerala's Kochi city,
Congress President Rahul Gandhi said, "I visited many camps yesterday, people are worried ... I have spoken to the Chief Minister of Kerala ... It is a matter of fact that this The government assures the people that the government will help in rebuilding their homes ... the compensation that has been promised should be given soon ...Congress President Rahul Gandhi arrived in Ernakulam on Tuesday. Here Rahul went to the relief camp and talked to the flood victims and had his pain. Rahul Gandhi is on a two-day tour. Rahul will also go to Chengannur, Aleppi and Angamali tomorrow. On Wednesday, Rahul visits Wayanad and meets the flood victims. More than 3.42 lakh people are living in relief camps even after 15 days of disastrous floods in Kerala. This flood has devastated the southern state and killed more than three and a half hundred people and left thousands of homeless.
After the devastation caused by floods in
Kerala, many people from across the country extended their hands for help. To
help the state, many people gave thousands of rupees to crores of rupees. But
in the meantime a 12-year-old girl has provided a special donation for the
flood victims of Kerala. A girl named Akshya has given Rs 5000 to Kerala, who
was stranded with devastation. This girl has shown her big heart by donating
5000 rupees from the rupees kept for her surgery. Akshaya, a resident of Karur
in Tamil Nadu, is very close to the family. Akshaya, who is studying in the 7th
class, is a serious heart disease.Akshya and her family raised money from
fundraising for surgery. Akshaya donated a portion of the amount of treatment.
Akshaya's first surgery has been done and for the second surgery it is worth
2.5 lakh rupees. So far, only 20 thousand rupees were deposited for the
treatment, out of which 5 thousand Akasya has donated. He said that despite floods
in Kerala people have got some relief but the problems of the people living
there still remain the same as before. While lyricist Javed Akhtar expressed
his condolences on the flood victims, he said that we can not understand his
sufferings as he has passed. One thing that is most important now is that no
matter what the matter should be done there should be fund. More and more funds
can get Kerala out of this catastrophe quickly. If we do not work during the
time, the devastation will get bigger after the water has landed. There is a
danger of spreading many kinds of diseases now. We should not come just like a
citizen, not just funds but in every way to help. Today, there is a problem of
the house in front of them. We should help as much as we can at our level.
That's because of the flood in Kerala, so far more than 400 people have died. While
there is also loss of life and property.Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that we have decided
that the highway damaged should be repaired as soon as the road becomes good,
relief work will be speeded up. He said that there is a great help from the
social organizations too. This resolution is huge. The people of Kerala are not
different. We will cooperate fully with Kerala. He said that we have made a
decision that where there is excessive rainfall, construction of semi-concrete
road will be done so that the loss is minimal.
